CONTACT of Burlington County responded to its first call for help on July 9, 1972. Since that date, CONTACT has provided free, confidential and continuous 24/7 crisis response to the Burlington County Community.
CONTACT is accredited by CONTACT USA, affiliated with LifeLine International and is a United Way of Burlington County Partner Agency. We are members of the American Association of Suicidology (AAS); the National Association of Information and Referral Services (AIRS); the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault (NJCASA); the Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network (RAINN), and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), among others.
CONTACT serves on many human and social services committees and cooperates with other local agencies in coordinating and delivering services.
CONTACT of Burlington County is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of CONTACT membership, community and business representatives.
CONTACT of Burlington County is financially supported by the community it serves. Funding sources are the United Way of Burlington County, the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the State of New Jersey, churches, organizations, business, foundations, individuals and special fundraising events.
